The Nissan Path

Hello everyone
Yesterday about 5 min after i opened the rear hatch, it and the rear window stopped unlocking. Key fob and even from the door it doesnt unlock. Had to use the lever on the inside of the rear hatch door, im guessing i unlocked manually. Once i close the door it goes back to not unlocking. I feel it unlock but it isnt unlocked. Any idea what it might be?

Found the problem. The white platic locking mechanism was loose. Both screws that hold it in place pulled a houdini. Ziptied them to the holes and put in place amd now its working.
