Hi I have just bought a pathfinder aventura 56 plate and it has one fob. I have 2 questions.

I know how to open the doors if the fob battery dies, however what I am not sure of is how to start the car with the manual key. The car doesn't have a starter button but more of a bar which you turn to start it like you would with a key. I couldn't see anywhere near to this 'bar' to insert the key blade?

Also if I buy a second fob off eBay can I program this my self? If so how please.

If you look closely the centre of the bar is actually a cap that pulls out so you can insert the key

Do you know about programming the keyless key?

Unfortunately they have to be coded to the truck, not necessarily by the dealer but by a pro with the right software
