Best bulbs for fog lights

I dealt with the stock yellowish bulbs for a while and just recently purchased some LED bulbs.. biggest waste of money. They are not white as advertised and you could hold your hand out 5ft from them and wouldn't light your hand. If you look at them, the LED is bright but just does not work with the stock housing. My fault, but now I want to go back to a normal bulb for our housing. I trashed my old bulbs anyway.
What is the best bulb for our fog lights? I cant stand the yellow look and need a good wide field of view with as bright bulb as possible.

thanks a lot i'll look into it.

Have you, or anyone else, used an HID kit in the fog lights ? i don't like the HID on the stock headlight housing, but thought for fog lights when nobody is in front of me it might be nice.

I've never used them. Personally, I think the stock fog lamps work pretty well; it's just the headlamps that needed improvement.

I went with the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra for my head lights and driving lights and it is a major improvement.
