Beeping Noise whilst driving

Hi all,
I own a 2005 Pathfinder, bought it 3 weeks ago and love it.
One day I went to lock the truck whilst a door was still opened and it beeped at me (maybe 5 times in quick sucsession).
I've been driving and randomly it will do this beep like described above.
Has anyone came across this?
