The Nissan Path

I am not in the mood of opening $100 on the silly looking light.

There are YT videos about gutting these out and placing in LED strips.
I believe the top strip would have to be 10†long and 8†for the bottom one. There are two in case you have not noticed.

It would be nice if someone who knows electricity could post a how to?

Or should I just buy individual LED bulbs and place them in there..?

Anyone has any experience here please?

Bought the light for 30 bucks including shipping off of eBay - some Russian guy - mine is version 2.0A and it’s nice and very bright. Fit in with no issues - less than 5 mins to install - the eBay guy sent a quick how to video - so far so good. It’s just a special LED strip you take out and put the new one in.

thanks for this update. I noticed mine had some burned out 'bulbs' and now it's totally out. I thought these were just mini bulbs until i couldn't find replacement generic bulbs online, and upon popping the trim off noticed it's actually an LED board! part number is 26590-ZS00A and isn't cheap at around 100. I think i'm going the ebay route too for that 30 buck option out of Russia. Cheers

I had to replace mine, it was surprisingly cheap at $70 CAD at our local dealer but, $30 on eBay is much cheaper. Good to know if mine ever goes again.
It's just a 12 Volt output, I wonder if a guy could just put some white or Red Standard LED Car strips in there????
