ignition switch

Here is an odd one....
Still ongoing issue with my ICE where i cut the rear cables to the speakers as it sounded like the rear channel on the head unit amp was blowing. Fading made no difference hence the 'snip'
The radio would cut out, no sound sometimes too, so assumed the amp was struggling, it would come back on after starting the truck ( again assumoning it needed to cool down? )
This morning i cut out listening to CD, and i for whatever reason touched the ignition switch ( was feeling to adjust mirror ) and sound came back !
Its the 'intelligent key ' type switch.
Dont have any other issues i could point at.. Green light works all the time to start, just seems strange or coincidental.
