R51 Wiring Diagrams - Backup Camera

Hi All,
Our back-up camera on the 2012 SE is failing... It's actually showing the image, upside down. It was totally black yesterday, then upside down today. The replacement camera (28442-9CA1A) costs about $800CAD from the dealer - yes, that's just the part.
I have an after-market back up camera that came with my dash cam, but I never needed it until now. Of course, it does not have the same plug on it as OEM. I'm wondering if I can just splice the new aftermarket camera in to the stock wiring to display on the built in screen, instead of the tiny dash cam screen.
I haven't been able to locate a wiring diagram for the R51 anywhere... Is there one on the forum somewhere, or any suggestions?
I also found that Carid carries a Dorman replacement camera (#4535934874) for $146USD, so I might consider that if I can't find any diagrams.
