My 2008 SE had the rear blower not working, I replaced the blower motor resistor and it started working again the first time I turned it on and off just fine. I turned it on again and now it won't turn off. A note that all the resistors all the auto parts stores say fit it looked different than the one I pulled out,did they update the design? Why is it stuck on with the new resistor?

The updated it by putting a larger heat sink on it to help cool it. Aftermarket replacements are hit and miss. The reason it won't shut off is because it is in fail safe mode. If it's the rear blower that is constantly on, then your new part has failed. My advice is get one from Nissan.
