Quick question. On the 2009 PF v6 equipped with the auto transmission does one have to depress the brake pedal to turn the key to start vehicle? I ask because on mine I don’t have to. Cheers.

Nothing with a steel key requires stepping on the brake to start, only I-keys need that. Stepping on the brake is required on all A/T models in order to shift out of Park (the Shift Lock Solenoid is powered by the brake lamp circuit).
