Adding OEM foglights

Just thought I would share my little take on the OEM fog light addition. I've been debating for some time whether to add the stalk and lights, but just couldn't make my self shell out $240 for the kit. After some time of searching the net I finally decided to search ebay for what I was needing. I found a OEm stalk from a parts seller, I bought the stalk w/ fog light control and it also has the AUTO lights control. I was a little skeptical about the stalk working since it had the AUTO feature on it , but it works just the same. It just doesnt do anything with you flip it to AUTO. I picked that up for $30 off ebay. (I think there maybe one more on there if anyones interested) Now I'm gonna order the OEM fog lights off ebay, I'm looking at the kit that comes with the wiring and switch just incase I need to add something else or atleast I know I can wire it myself and make it work .
Here's the kit I'm gonna get

Not a bad fog light install for $105 total
I'll try to post pics sometime next week

Are these really the OEM lights? I've got a busted lens on mine and it looked like $80 just to fix with OEM parts online. I'll swap them both out though if they mount right up. I don't even care if they work...I never use them...but my busted lens looks pretty crappy. Has anyone seen rock covers for these?

skinny2 You can always use clear laminx to protect from rock chips. The yellow looks good on some vehicles too.

They aren't Nissan OEM, but they are OEM fit so yes they are the same thing almost. They will get the job done either way.

Let us know how they fit & if they're just as good as OEM. I need to replace one of mine, it has a mysterious fogging problem I can't seem to fix with a heat gun or sealant.

Oh, and pics would be nice too :D

The light assy itself might be oem style but the switch is def not. There are no wires or relays involved since they are prewired for fogs. I bought an oem kit here http://www.courtesyparts.com/nissan-fog ... cPath=6833&

The oem switch isn't a push button switch...it's on the stalk. It's def more expensive but true oem.

obviously the switch that comes with the lights is not OEM, but I did buy the nissan oem turn signal stalk and it works fine, I just need to plug the lights in. I havent ordered them yet, probably get them next day or two then I'll post some pics when I get them.

I am very interested in what you think of the quality of the lights as there are many similar kits on ebay.
