easiest way to replace tag lights on 2006 pathfinder

i know one way is to take off chrome plastic piece and inside panel .. but heard you can just use a offset screwdriver to get to screws and they will pop out true????

An offset screwdriver is a watse of time. It will work for the first turn or 2 then the head of the screw gets closer to the trim and the offset driver is useless.
You will need to remove the plastic from the inside of the tailgate and then it is really easy to get to the bulbs. There are a few screws and clips and it pops right off.
