I would jump to a fuse, but you said that was fine. sounds like a connection broke loose/fried somewhere between the switch and the pigtail.

yeah the relay isnt engaging its good but it wont click i dont know but think it might be the switch trynna pull up a wiring diagran to follow the signal to the relay but it seens like doing thats gonna be a real B***H

there's a fuse box under the hood, and another beneath a panel on the passenger side of the dashboard (to the right of the lower glove box)
did you check the fuses in both?
don't have time to look at the moment, but it may be a different fuse circuit for the low beams

yes every light but the low beams are working thats why im so confused. i disasembled the stalk and tried jumping the metal strips but nothing, highs worked though jumped the signal wires under the hood and lows worked it seems to me the switch isnt sending the signal to engage the relay. i dont wanna jump to conclusions though and buy another stalk and still not have lows, i was just hopeing someone here has had a similar problem and could offer some advice. thanks

Unfortunately, since the lamps are controlled by the BCM, the only "proper" way to test the system is with a Consult II or similarly capable scantool. This will allow you to check for BCM trouble codes, check the input to the BCM from the headlamp switch and operate the headlamps with the scantool via direct input to the BCM.

Had a similar problem with my 95 Pathfinder. The switches need to be cleaned. I sprayed some electrical contact cleaner then used a q-tip to wipe away the dirt. After that, worked great.
