4WD Problems (electrical)

So I had posted a few months back about a problem I was having with the 4WD. I couldn't figure out why it just wasn't working at all. Finally Nissan did a diagnostic and sorted out that the switch was the culprit.

So I picked it up yesterday. Still at Nissan I switch it from 2WD to AUTO. Heard the beep and the little image on the dash showed the 4 wheels black. Great so that means it worked. I drove home and didn't take the car out again.

Today I get in the car and the image is gone and the amber 4WD light is on in the top left. WTF? The switch is brand new, I don't get why this is such a problem.

So I left my car at Nissan again to figure out the problem with the 4WD idiot light being on.

Turns out that today they verified that once again the problem is the switch. So what on earth could cause the switch to burn out within 24 hours?

Any suggestions would be greatly helpful. Thanks in advance!

Could be a cheaply made batch of switches...or there's another problem and they can't figure out what it is so they are blaming the switch. Guess you'll find out if it happens again!

Anyone know what the difference between these 4WD switched?

25536-EA005
25536-ZP20A
25536-ZP20B
25536-9BH0A

Which one should I buy for a R51 / 2007 LE?

So I decided to bite the bullet and buy the switch that the dealership is recommending (the exact model) that way I'm getting the switch through them and if it burns out again, they can't say 'sorry'.

Might be $20 more but seems worth while.

The model they said comes on my truck is: 25536-EA005
