hey has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?
I have to plug and unplug my 12 v accessory in the cargo plug every time I get out of my car or my lighted sign for work does not turn off. every one else I work with, when they lock their doors the 12v accessory turns off automatically, yet mine keeps running until the battery is drained, whats up with that?

Some accessory ports are connected to the ignition, some are not. Most cars are like that.

All four on the accessory plugs in my 2012 PF LE turn off when the key is turn off. I plan to rewire at least on of the existing plugs or add a new 12v plug that will be in a always power on status. This always on plug comes in handy for things like charging cell phones or running computers.

The cargo accessory plug in my 05 is a constant power.

Same here. Also, one of the 2 up front are constant. The one in the armrest console is ignition.

In my 2011, the rear cargo outlet is always hot, the one in the console arm rest box is switched on with the ignition. As for the two on the dash board, the top outlet is switched on with the ignition and the bottom outlet is always hot.

same as everyone else...
in the front the top one is switched, bottom is constant.
center console is switched
however on the rear, i could swear it was a delayed switched. much like how your dome lights will turn off after X minutes, and how you can still roll down the windows with the key out of the ignition as long as you haven't opened a door, the rear one turns off after so long.
i could be wrong though. it's been awhile since i tested that.

Awesome,
Thanks for the response!
I went ahead and plugged the light into the center console... wow saved me some real headaches. Yeah rear cargo always on, front two i have not tried but center console seems to work for what i need, i will just stick with using that one for that application.
Appreciate it everyone!

Went back and checked all four of the 12v plugs on my 2012 PF after reading that everyone else has at least one hot 12v plug. Nope, mine are all dead when the car is turned off.

That's weird

My 2012 SV plugs are the same as described by Oly.

Is weird but I have checked them three times. Guess I'll be adding a couple of 12v plugs always on plugs this weekend, one at the front dash and one to the rear of the car.

maybe it's a new "feature" they added in the 2012 versions to have them all switched. too many soccer moms leaving things plugged in, draining the battery and causing too many battery failures

I have a 2012. I have hot plugs up front and the rear.

Same with my 2012, two always on, two ignition controlled. I'd pay a visit back to the dealer if I were you.
