Question: How do I change the rear plate light bulbs?

Hi fellow R51 Pathfinder owners,

I have an 06 Path. My rear license plate light bulbs are both burnt out. I have the new replacement bulbs however, when I went to unscrew the bulbs, I noticed the chrome piece on the rear of the truck was blocking entry to the bulbs. Does that chrome piece simply pop off? If so how do I remove it without causing damage to my truck? If anyone has any insite or has replaced their rear license plate bulbs on their own, without going to their dealer, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks.

Thanks for the link, yes I didn't think it was easy. I might have to have the dealer change them.
