The Nissan Path

Check this out. Go to make a minor adjustment to the rear view mirror as I get back in the car on a warm day in the desert. Imagine my surprise at the mirror comes off in my hand. But, and this is the weird bit, it wasn't the adhesive that gave out. There still glass stuck to the mount and a chunk out of the inside of my windshield. The outside of the glass is still unmarked.

Anyone ever seen anything like this? Still under warranty so I guess I'll look at the small print before heading to the dealer on Monday.

It made that glass look like jello lol. Never seen a glass like that.

Well, dealer talked to Nissan and they will pay for new windshield. Now I just have to wait for the part to arrive...
