as the subject suggests...i thought it was my son's bottle that spilled a while back when i noticed it...gave it some time...no mats and windows open...it dried out....a few weeks later took it to detailing as the car smells like a gym bag...MTB gear, gym gear, camping gear being left in the back for days on end.....and that patch was dry....so this evening i was just dusting it up and noticed the carpet is moist again....any ideas..no we dont have rain here...all the water bottles go in the holders...could it be from the AC as it runs pretty much ALL the time.....

The drain hose for the A/C evaporator case is on the passenger side, so it could be a disconnected or clogged drain hose. There have also been some issues with water blowing back up the drain, into the vehicle. There was a TSB on the issue giving hose part number and instructions how to modify it and install it on the drain to prevent this problem.

The remedy would depend on what is going on. Here's a link to the bulletin:

I did this to mine, solved the problem. Easy DIY. Hardest part is removing all the screws in the fender skirt.
