Hey guys just thought i would share my project that i did today. I installed a 42" LED light bar in the bottom grill opening on front bumper. had to do a little cutting but nothing to major. Also had to remove the the bumper cover to bolt it to the bumper support. Do not think i have to worry about anyone stealing this light bar.

here is a pic of it installed. Took about 1.5 hours to do. Let me know what you think.

Hell yeah! I've been looking for this a long time, but the thing is here in California, they require front plate numbers. So i was thinking of putting two led bars on each side of the plate numbers. going to do some measuring later, and hopefully i'll find one that fits perfectly.
Looking forward on your night pics.

I bought it at the pawn shop next door to my shop for $100, lol. Not sure what brand it is because there are no markings. Best i can tell from the bolt style on the ends it is a Cree. I did have to remove the bumper cover to mount the bracket to the bumper support.

You could get something like this and bolt it low enough to clear the opening. might have to modify it a little but shouldn't be to hard. just a thought.

WOW. That is impressive, and it's still light outside!!
Where did you buy the bar from? I've seen a bunch of "cheaper" light bars opposed to the $2000 one's, so curious what you got.
Might have to add this to the to do list, gets dark here in Harnett County.
Edit:
Just saw you in NC. Want to help me with install!!!!! I got beer

Where are you in NC? I would be happy to help. I bought it from the pawn shop next door to my shop. I'm sure its a cheaper one, probably a cree for somewhere around 150-300 (amazon). If you are going to buy a new one I would buy the 40" curved one. It will fit a little better.
