how to clean the dash material?

The dash in my pathfinder feels like it is some type of material and not just a plastic or vinyl. I used to use Meguiars interior spray on all my cars because everything was plastic. Is it ok to use this stuff on the pathfinder or should I be using something else? The glovebox looks like someone rubbed dirt on it and I need to clean it up.
