Will the Frontier grille fit on the pathfinder?

They should up until the 2008 Pathfinder, which is the year they changed the nose and extended it to fit the V8 option.

From what I can tell, as long as you're within the same year, most of the front end is interchangeable. Recently saw a guy local with a frontier bumper and headlights on his pathfinder. He got the car like that, when I asked him about it. Car probably had a smashed front end.

That's not really true as far as the bumper/grille/headlights. After 2007, the Frontier kept the "flatter" noise while the 2008 and later continued on with the more "raked" or "pointed" nose.

Good info. I've seen 2 different styles of headlights for the frontier I think. Presumably both styles should then work with the older pathfinders?

2005-2007 Pathfinder and 2005-2008 Frontier headlamps are interchangeable.

2005-2015 Xterra headlamps are interchangeable within themselves.

2009-2016 Frontier headlamps are interchangeable within themselves.

To interchange between any of those three groups will like require changing the grille and/or bumper cover. The early Frontiers also had two different bumper covers. So, if the OP gave the model years of what vehicles to which he is questioning, it would make the question easier to answer.
