As title.

Just bought a 2012 Pathfinder Base
-110,000 km
-Super well taken care of
-It does not have any rear heater controls or any other special options

Practically no air flow from the armrest mounted rear flowing vents, in any of the combinations of air flow controls.

The flow couldn't even blow a tissue if it was taped to the vent.

Heat, cold, floor, face, defog.. nothing gets any serious flow out of that vent.

Yes, the rear facing floor vents under the seats flow fine in hot and cold.

Can anyone confirm if I'm supposed to get any decent flow out of those vents?

Thanks guys!

Yes they should be blowing.

Could be an actuator issue.

Or

Mine have a switch that allows one to shut off the air flow. I will suggest looking for this, although you may have already been aware, you didn't say anything in your post though.

Hey Terry, I'm also in Winnipeg!!!

I can hear the actuators moving when I switch positions. I would think that there isn't a separate one for the arm rest vents (ie: in the arm rest) and that the bypass ducting is just in the dash with the rest.

The roller switch that is at the vents is set for open (unless its broken inside the vent itself) but it feels as if it is moving the open and close door behind the vent itself.

Are you speaking of a different "switch" ?

Thanks for the reply.[/u]

I also have this same issue on mine, i dont think the armrest vents were meant to really even blow, if anything they need a booster fan.
