Pathfinder Tube Bumper from Frontier

Afternoon Everyone-

The forum search couldn't answer my question so here I am. I just spend 30 minutes talking to my local Nissan dealership about the parts needed to convert a Pathfinder front end into a Frontiers.

Allowing for more aftermarket bumpers to be available. Here are the part numbers.

62044-EA800
62045-EA800
62290-EA800
62022-EA825

The parts include the brackets needed for the top bumper off a frontier to fill in the gap and the top bumper filler.

According to the parts rep. This is 100% possible and easily done for about 200 bucks. Then I want to install this Calmini front tube bumper. Minus those circle rally lights

Is this possible or is he blowing smoke up my a**?

This is what I can tell you: 2005-2007 Pathfinders can interchange with the Frontiers with minor fabrication. In 2008, the Pathfinder was made available with the V8 option; to do this, Nissan extended the nose of the Pathfinder 3", which increased the rake of the nose and required a more angled grille and headlights. The fenders were the same for all years. The Pathfinder hood was changed in 2008, but I believe it was more in the body lines of the hood than the actual fit. So, it "may" be possible if you are going with the Calmini tube bumper, but I would think you would have to replace the head lights, as well?

Thank you, I have heard about the rake before. I have inquiries out to Calmini, Nissan and a company in Vegas.

A company in Vegas fabricated a tube bumper out of a 2011 Frontier with the solid front bumper. So they cut the bumper in half to make room.
