And why didn't these come from the factory?
I got the set from Z1 Off-Road and couldn't be more impressed.
Easy, fast, no clearance issues at all. 20 minute install. The hood really opens further.
I did have to email them for the free shipping though.

I used the brackets from a rear hatch R51 and the struts. I used the front mounting points from a Ford F150 and drilled holes. I bought the parts from the local junk yard. I'll take pics later and post.
