Automatic window down feature discovered

I realized something rather cool after my brother showed me that his BMW M3 can have the windows put down automatically if you hold the unlock button on the remote for about 5seconds. I then tried this on my 2007 Pathfinder and the driver and passenger windows went down. To close them without getting into the vehicle just put your key into the lock and turn it to the lock position and hold it there for a few seconds and the windows will close.

Not on the 05s or the 06 they threw that in as an 07 update with the Passenger auto up/Down switch (which are a tad to sensitive for my tastes). I'm a little dissapointed with some of the features they skimped on with the Path but were available on the Titans and Altimas fresh out the gate.

I was thinking about that the other day. The wife has an 06 Murano with 1 touch up/down on the pax side and I was like "what the hell!?".

And I know what you mean about the touchyness. For some reason I constantly hit it too hard and have to adjust.

Yeah, my '03 Murano had that too, I miss it :(

I also wish it had the automatic lock feature when you put it in drive. You'd think they'd have a simple way to program these options (for those of us without the navigation package).

Yeah, it's odd how some of these features get left out of certain models. Hell, my old 99 Maxima could roll the windows down remotely with the fob (as could my 03 G35). And my 05 Path does not?? Strange!!
