The Nissan Path

After seeing what others are doing, I started to think about painting my roof rack black, to match the body colour. I rather like the contract of the chrome on the black but not sure if I am sold on the greyish colour on the roof rack. If for no other reason but to make my Pathy look just a little bit different than the next.

I like the contrast. If you were all blacked out...body moldings, wheels, etc. I'd go for it.

i'd match the color of the body moldings to match the original color of the roof rack, and leave the roof rack as it is
with that, the wheels, rack, & moldings would look great together
and i'd add the Pathfinder emblems to the rack

I like the roof rack as is, but do like it better with the "Pathfinder" stickers on it like my 2006.

could always do a plastidip coating as a "test", that way if you don't like it you can just peel it off!

Hmm, didn't think about adding the Pathfinder decal to the rails. I wonder what it would look like with black rails and the decal for contrast?

The letters on the decal are silver, so they will certainly stand out!

I got black wheels and had body shop paint grille and badges black, but I pulled them off. I thought about the roof rack but I didnt want to get roof scratched either trying to do it myselfself or have bodyshop and then you could get overspray also. I thought who stands there and stares at a roof rack. So I left mine go and im glad I did. Just my opinion. Picture of my Path is under PRO COMP WHEELS.
