Hello All,

My drivers side door handle is occasionally not opening the door. I can open the door from the inside and any other door can be opened without trouble.

The stealership is quoting me almost $450 for parts and labor.

If I bang the door with the bottom of my fist, just around the lock and try again it works. lol. If I can fix it with just banging it I assume there is just something loose. Has anyone had this problem before?

Haven't had that problem myself, but if it were me, I'd pull off the door panel so I could see what might be the problem. Even if you buy the expensive OEM parts from the dealer, I can't imagine the total damage would be anywhere close to $450 out of pocket. If you pull the panel and can't quite seem to figure out what the problem is, post a pic here and see if any of the other knowledgeable members can help.
