may not be in the right spot, feel free to move, but since i did my bypass i want to add a temp gauge. but dont know where to mount it. anyone else have any aftermarket gauges on a LE? thought about the 4X4 switch area, but need to find out the size and if i could find a gauge that would fit. thnx

Someone here on the forum installed a trans temp gauge in that spot and it was a good fit. Try searching and see if you can find that thread.

Have considered doing the same. However, bullydog tuners read the transmission temperature. I'm not about to go and buy another tuner to the tune of $400 or so, but who this does mean is that the data is in the ecm. Some have posted about an adapter that plugs into the obdii port and communicates with their smartphone. I would lean in this direction, as there are fewer issues with the install.

I already have that... Works fine, but i have the safe drive device.

I use my Bullydog to watch Trans temp. Here is how I mounted it.
