More Gen Grabber AT2?

I have seen some reports that the General Grabber A/T2 tires ride hard I am thinking about a set for my 2012 PF V6 in 265/70/16 up from my stock 245/75/16. It's come down to the Generals or the Cooper A/T3 tires. Both get great reviews but the ride on the Generals is my worry. I was going with the Toyo A/T's but I just can't get them for the price I want.

Have you considered Nitto Terra Grapplers? Nitto is owned by Toyo Tire and their Terra Grappler is basically the same tire as Toyo's Open Country tire with a slightly different tread design; construction-wise, they are the same.

That's some good tire advice I will check them out and I know a local shop that sells Nitto as well so that gives me another good option.

I'd go with the nittos or the toyos (the open country at2 is what I have). The grabbers and the bfg (basically the same tread pattern) are not great road tires at all

Bump for tires - it seems Tirerack and Discount don't have the Nittos or Toyos? Where are you guys seeing these tires?

I bought mine at a local shop. I have 2 shops in the area that have great tire prices.
check with your local shops. some of the online places aren't that great of a deal anyway. by the time you pay for shipping and then pay someone to mount and balance, it pretty much works out to be the same price

That's true, especially in regards to the shipping costs! Fortunately, I have the equipment to mount, balance tires and program the TPMS sensors, so that saves me a lot of $ and hassle!
