I couldn't find anything on this site about these tires when I was looking at them. I went to the Jeep Forum and some Silverado Forums and found endless information and positive reviews.

I bought a set of 265/75r16 Guard Dog tires and thought I would post my initial thoughts and updates as I go.

They used BFGoodrich AllTerrain sidewalls with the raised white lettering and they look amazing!

This is the only picture I have right now. Hopefully I can get some more soon!

They were on sale when I bought them. Total was 520.00 with free shipping and got them mounted for about 70.

WOW!!! Those look like deep treads. It reminds me of when I was 18. Dad had just put snow tires on a 1961 Chev Corvair Greenbriar [passenger van]. I went around a curve a “little” too fast and did a 180. The rear just walked itself around. Scared the snot out of me. Never did that again.

Heres another tread picture.

So far they have been awesome! They performed flawlessly in the couple inches of snow we got the other day. They have road noise that resembles a tornado siren off in the distance but its nothing the volume knob cant cover up if needed.

Tires are still running great! I do have one complaint though... my MPG's have decreased drastically. I knew that with bigger tires and deep tread i would lose a few MPG's but i went from about mid 15's down to about mid 10's.

I'm really hoping that after they break in a little more I will start to increase because I don't like the pathfinder enough with regular tires on it and I can't do that low of MPG's...

Yea I really need to figure out why. They were lower than normal before the new tires so there has to be something else causing it. I have tried regular gas and premium and that made no difference, new air filter, I do have a little bit of a lead foot but it's definitely not that bad.

With 83,000 Miles is there anything obvious I should get checked/change or any upgrades that will help?
