Wheels. Same question, slightly different.

So, Heres the deal. I work for a wheel manufacturer. Im building either a 17"/18" custom forged wheel. But im a little not in the know about specs.

I can do 8" / 8.5" / 9" Pretty much any offset. Im thinking of doing something funky so I could use some spec help.

Im doing a monolook 2-peice wheel with a concave face. I think 17" center will give me the spoke length/depth I want.

If I do a 17" x 8.5" what offset/backpad do I need to work with. Is an et0 wheel going to work? I dont want to have it look like a mudder, i prefer the look of baja trucks with a narrower/taller wheel/tire

Any advice here.

17x8
et0
4.5" backspace

It's going to be a concave forged duoblock with psuedobeadlock. ring.

I don't know the answers to your questions but I am excited to see the wheels come together and installed. It looks awesome so far! Keep up the quality work.

How much lift will you add in front? Just spacers or "real" lift?

And back...also just airbags, or including spacers or even "real" lift (struts, dampers)?

got Rancho Quick lift (2") rancho rear struts and 2" spacers.

So 2" overall. Not too terribly worried about rubbing and Im not really a 4x dude. Just want a better look, some more clearance for light offroad (mostly just to camp sites and for mountain biking.

I saw these in the picture thread. Interesting setup, but doesn't look very concave like you stated in your first post. Side pic?

They ended up being less concave than i wanted to keep them at bodyline.

We altered the dogbowl to make it deeper.

If I do another set, they'll be different next time around.

I'll post up studio pics tomorrow and the other set we made for Brians Rover.

Not sure we'll make more, but i'll ask. My guess is in the $500 or so a wheel range. They're forged centers/faces and barrels.
