Brake pad return spring

I recently replaced front brake pads and rotors on my 06.
Want to be sure everything is where it is supposed to be. Anyone have a diagram or picture of where the pad return spring is place at? It is the wishbone shaped spring with prongs at each end.
Thanks

have you looked in the service manual?

There are holes at the ends of the pad where the spring inserts between the pads, to push them apart. I've seen some with one spring and others with two (one on each end). Unfortunately, the Nissan part diagram doesn't show them. I found a pic here:

Thanks Smj....
so the spring is hooked into the actual pad itself or the retaining clip?

There are holes in the backing plate of the brake pad, itself. If you get a cheap set of brake pads, it may not have the wholes. I usually get Akebono PRO ACT Ceramics from Rockauto, as they are an OE supplier of brakes to Nissan and the pads come with new shims and hardware.
