brake light/ VDC/ SLIP

recently while under hard braking the "Brake" light will come on momentarily then go off. any idea what might cause that?
also randomly, the SLIP and VDC light will come on halfway through my 10 mile commute in the morning.

Is your abs light Also on?
Could be a loose abs cable or dirty/fualty sensor

Check your brake fluid level on the brake light coming on...
On the VDC/Slip, does it go out after a while? Wonder if you have a sensor that is having connectivity issues.

abs light is not on. The VDC light and SLIP have only gone out after i turned the car off. i will check the brake fluid tonight

If the abs light is not on usually the electrical of it is ok but the car is sensing something either slipping but if the brake light is on it sounds more like you're low or service the brake system.
Its telling you the traction control is not on though probably only abs
