Plan to swap OE 17" for refurb. OE 18"

I have always loved the OE 18" LE rims, and while I like my 17" wheels, I love the 18" LE rims enough to get those. That being said, there are a few options I've thought of.
I definitely want to at least get A/T tires. I don't drive it enough to worry about daily driver issues, and really want the aggressive look and versatility of A/T tires. I compared the following:
1) Keep 17" wheels and get new A/T tires (4+one for my steel spare). Keep current M+S (brand new Uniroyal)
2) Sell 17" wheels and spare and use that money towards 5 all new 18" LE rims and A/T
Any advice would be appreciated. At this point, I'm going towards option 2. I've priced what my rims and tires are worth, and I'd actually only be spending about $500 out of pocket altogether for a full setup, which is an amazing deal.
