Front tires larger than rear?

So, I had to get a set of front tires on my recently acquired 05 PF SE 2wd. The alignment is so bad the inside tread on both tires is completely worn. So, I just had some used tires put on to get me through winter and will put all new tires, shocks, and alignment in January. I get home and noticed that the fronts that were just put on are 265/75 16 and the rears are 265/70 16. I know mpg, speedo will be affected, but my question is, will this tear anything else up running like that for a couple months?

Also, my SLIP indicator comes on intermittently now when going down the highway. I turned VDC off and that hasn't been an issue.

It changes the wheel speeds between the front and the rear, which causes the ABS system to think there's a slip, hence the SLIP light. It may cause the ABS system to activate when it shouldn't or not work properly.

It could also have a bad effect on emergency handling

Beside all mentioned bad side effects, additional stress is presented to drivetrain (u-joints, diffs, axles...) when you are in 4WD mode, especially in 4Hi or 4Lo. It would be best to avoid any 4WD mode until you change tires to equal sizes.
