I know this is late but I was looking for the service manuals myself. Found it by searching Google.

So it's front passenger > rear passenger > front driver > rear driver side?


I've always thought it's rear passenger > rear driver > front passenger > front driver.

You are not reading the full instructions. Go back to step 2 where it says to connect a vinyl tube to the right rear bleeder. So, the bleed procedure is as follows:

Right-rear...Left-front...Left-rear...Right-front

You have to remember that bleeding procedures changed when we went from the old-style hydraulic brake setups with a single line to the rear that split to each rear wheel, to ABS systems with a separate line to each wheel.

Oh duh! I may have to re-bleed my lines then I may just put them up on ramps and not take off the tires

Just for clarification ... does right side = passenger or driver?

This always confuses me. If I'm facing the front of the car, the right side is driver side. If I'm sitting inside the car, the right side is passenger side. What is the standard with service manuals? So I don't get confused when reading them in the future.

I just wanted to chime in. I agree with the previous post. I accidentally used Dot 3 brake fluid instead of Dot 4 on my last change and after completely draining and rebleeding with Dot 4 a huge difference. Before the rebleed I had ABS kicking in for the smallest crap. Not saying you did the same but make sure it's Dot 4.

Not going to lie, this vehicle has always felt weak to me but I also drive an F150 on the side which has the opposite issue of braking to hard too quick.
