Going from 265/65R17 to 245/75R17 any thoughts?

Hey guys, ya'll are much smarter than me so I wanted to ask. I have an opportunity to get a GREAT deal on some Michelin LTX A/T 2 tires but they are load range E and 245/75R17, and a whopping 47 pounds each (as compared to the average stock tire weight of 37 pounds)!
I am not worried about the height difference, I am more concerned with the weight, width, and load range.
What can I expect in making this change? Should I avoid doing it? Will I see an MPG drop?
Car is a grocery getter for your information. We live in northern UT so plenty of snow during the winter and only need 4low 2-3 times per year max while camping so off road work is very mild.
Thanks for your help!

The weight should give u a slight mpg drop... the extra inch diameter a slight rise in ground clearance.
You are going from a 30.5 inch tire to a 31.5 inch tire
Your speedo will be off by 3-3.5%
In the snow the slimmer tire will actually be an advantage.
You may lose some tranction in fast curves thougugh.
To put this into perspective a 215 width tire used to be considered a wide tire a mere 20 yrs ago.
A 245 was an ultrawide on sports cars only..

You'll lose some mpg to increased friction with the road surface too.
For max mpg from the tires you need to use bicycle style wheels and tires.

PS: There is a Pathy of our gen that comes with stock 245s BTW:
245/75R16
So the slimmer width of your tire should not be a deal breaker
