Wheel question????

Hey Guys!!! I have a 2011 Pathfinder SV, I’m amazed at the fact there are zero aftermarket wheels out there that I like because of the 6x4.5 bolt pattern. Currently it has the 17 inch factory wheels, the only wheels I remotely like are the Pro-Comp 7089 all others Mickey Thompson classic II & Pro comp 7069 don’t come in a 6x4.5 bolt pattern.

Here’s my question, I’m looking to put a 16 inch (16x8) wheel on 265/75/16 Wrangler Dura Track or Nitto terra grappler. Are 16 inch wheels compatible with the 2011 Pathfinder?? I know in years past the Pathfinder has come with 16 inch wheels, the 07 SE Off road came with 265/75/16 from the factory.

Before I invest I just want to be sure.

Yes. 16s will fit. Here is a good thread to see stock tire/rim sizes. http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=5557

I actually had 18s come stock on mine, and found some 17 Frontier rims for sale local and bought the duratracs to throw on the 17s. They have been great. It's still an OEM Nissan wheel, but not the typical Pathfinder wheel.

Not sure your style, but MHT Fuel series wheels can be drilled in any BP at no extra charge.

Also, for those V8 guys out there, the brakes were upgraded in 08 with the V8, and the calipers are fairly large, relatively speaking. A friend of mine had some issues when he went to 17's on his Titan in that the wheel weights would come off due to them getting caught on the caliper given the small clearance.

He advised if he were to do it again, he would have stuck with 18's, as was done from the factory.

I haven't verified the front brakes are the same, but, just a thought.

I went to 17s from an Frontier on my 08 V8 and have no issues with weights being pulled off. There is plenty of room between the caliper and the wheel.

That's good to know, looking at the caliper part #'s, doesn't look as if they're the same, so we may be in luck to go smaller.

Also, one quick question, I haven't had time to look and confirm, but searching for rotors online, I get 2 different items for an 08 V8 Pathy, can you confirm the rotor size?

I have some free time this coming weekend and will verify then, but just wanted to check and see if you may know offhand.

The Maxima rotors are 12.6", so I'll have a good reference by comparing.

Unsures on the rotor size. I have yet to do a brake job on the Pathfinder.

Are you interesting in selling your stock wheels and tires if you find a suitable upgrade? I have a 2010 S with the stock 16s and would like to go to stock 17s if the price is right. I am about due for tires anyways. So, it would make sense to look at whole set if available.
