Rattling Noise when i turn on engine

i notice that a couple of times i turn on my pathy it has done a rattling noice like if a piece of sheet metal is loose someone around the motor anyone got any idea of what it might be?

could be one of a few hundred things under the car. try best as you can to narrow down the location to help you find the source
could be skid plate, heat shield, exhaust rattle, bolt or screw somewhere, ...

ok i think i got this a little more nailed down it seems to be coming (the Noise) from the passangers side in between the tire and the engine but it also sounds like the RPM'S go up when it does it to 2000 like if i'm pressing on the gas but i'm not.

exhaust heat shield

Crawl under it and tap with a rubber mallet and see if anything rattles around. I have added a few stainless steel hose clamps to get rid of a rattle on the heat shields on the exhaust and that seemed to fix my annoying rattle.

today i did what you guy's added the exhaust heat shield and that seem's to be it, i will fix it this weekend thank you guy's very much.
