Been shopping around for aftermarket wheels and I believe I may have chosen a set.

Looking at the Fuel Hostage wheel, 18x9 4.5” BS / -12mm offset.

Also looking at a 305/65 tire. I’m wondering if people have been ok clearing body and undercarriage items with the PRG/RadFlow coilovers and 4x4 rear springs and Radflo rears. Seems a bit of a tall tire for this set-up though, may go with the 295/65.

Looking at some numbers, I think I remember seeing the OEM 18x7.5” wheels @ +30mnm offset.

This will allow 22mm more clearance from the strut, but the edge of the wheel will extend 61mm. So, roughly adding in tire width, where there is a difference of 30mm, looks as if things should be OK with respect to the strut, etc.

Also, I see rragpaoa is running 275/70’s which are close to the same height, (~.4" shorter) albeit ~20mm thinner.

And doctahjones has 285's as do other members with OEM +30mm 7.5" wheels.

With that said, I don’t think I’ll have any issues on the inside portion of things, but still slightly worried about the outside/fender area.

Anyone have any thoughts?

not sure what to tell you. i mean i haven't seen any rub with my suspension, but i do get it in the front and rear fender when doing 'parking lot turns'. so on the road, no problem, but backing in/out of parking spaces i'll get a little rub.

We will soon find out. These should show up in a week or so. I've already got the PRG kit at home along with the HD springs and the PUR spacers on their way.

Speaking wth the Discount Tire rep guy from Clubfrontier, looks as if the front bumper may be the biggest issue. So, the KMA wincher would the be on its way sooner than later. I am now worried about the outer fender nearest to the door during full turn in.

Then again, Discount is usually extremely conservative in their fitment guidelines as I've seen with previous vehicles.

Just thought I'd update this.

Decided on some 295/65 18's, GYDT's of course. And since this bolt pattern is rare, decided on wheel adapters from Motorsport Tech to accommodate the Fuel Hostage wheels.

19mm wide, but since these are the thinnest spacers/adapters they offer, looks as if I will need to shave down my OEM studs. Seems like a common practice.

Let us know about the clearance...I think you're almost at 34".
And I'd like to run 35's someday...with enough lift and spacing I think it could be done!

Yup, looks as if it's up about the 33.1" range. IIRC, rrgpoa is still taller at 33.2 (275-70-18's). I kinda wanted more width though, vs the 275.
I think 35's are possible, something like either a 35x12.5, or 325/65 18.

I hope to have pictures soon enough with the wheels and lift and all that fun stuff.

Bit wide for my taste but I hoping the sliders will balance it out.

Maybe you don't need the wheel adapter/spacer?

No, those adapters are needed. I ordered wheels in October, they gave me the run around and essentially lied to me about their availability, and so I got fed up with waiting so I ordered 6x5.5 mid Jan, and they came a week later. I am a little peeved at Nissan for going to the 6x4.5, but ah well.

The next wheel run for blanks (so they can drill them to w/e BP is needed) isn't until mid March.

I'd love to see some better pics as well. How much trimming did you need to do? I just tried to run some Fuel Boost wheels (17x9 with 5" BS) and the inside wheel face contacted the calipers. Thought I'd have to trim a ton to fit that and you're running about 3 3/4" BS (4.5 wheel and .75 adapter). Looks great from this angle though!

Needed to do quite a bit of trimming on the inner fender well, nearest to the door. Literally needed to cut it down, and grind quite a bit of material from it.

Also, removed the front fascia because those were also rubbing too. Now, I still get slight rubbing when going into a turn and hitting a bump. Hope it doesn't get too bad when wheeling.
