Has anyone run a set of Gerneral AT2's? I'm looking at going up in size to a 265/70/17 from the stock 265/65/17. I got a quote for under $800 out the door for a set of 5. Will I have any issues with this size?

You won't have any problem with that size which is a cheaper option to the 265/65. Speedo/Odo will read about about 3.4% slow...or 58mph when yo'ure actually going 60mph. not sure about yours....but my speedo currently reads 2mph fast...so that may correct it.
Your gas mileage and performance will go down a little as well....maybe a lot if you're moving from a highway tire. I've heard good things about the Grabbers but have never run them.

that is the size I was going with before sticking to the original size... $800 out the door is a steal. I got mine a week ago, and paid $880.00 installed.
good luck, and they make the truck look a lot better.

I don't have any pics yet but, I do say they seem to help the ride. Seems to be more stable. I got them with nitrogen inflation and road hazard for 5 out the door for $893.
I actually got to test them out with this nasty weather we are having up here and I even tested them further by pulling a town cop out of a snow bank, going up a hill which was a pretty good grade. My wife was with me and she was pretty inpressed as well. I didn't even feel the tires slip at all. But, I wasn't gunning it, it was just slow and gradual but, they performed flawlessly.

awesome! 5 tires for that price, that is definately worthed! I wished I had that kind of offer.
Yes, the tires are awesome, and I had it before on my 07 Yukon, and it never under performed during the '10 snowmageddon.
Btw, did you go with 70 series or 65?

How are you guys liking your General Grabber AT2's? What is the wear like and how do they handle in wet and snow?

I've heard good things about General as well as their AT2 tires. I tried for a year to get them for my Jeep but the size I wanted was on backorder for the entire time. Settled on Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor and they do in fact live up to the claim of quieter road noise.

Just came back from our trip to Florida and just put in around 2,500 miles round trip and the tires handled great. On the way to Florida, we hit some down pours and also on the way home last night, VA had massive rain and the tires handled great. The tires were not loud at all, and have about 7500K on it alreadys since I got it.
I have always had great experience with the tires even from my old truck, had it on for almost 3 yrs before traded it in for the path.
Good luck!
