Front driver anti-lock brake out?

So I'm driving into work this morning and the brake light comes on. Then I notice as I'm slowing down the front drivers brake would catch intermittently with a lot of pops. Tapping on the brake pedal I could hear a buzzing sound but all other brakes felt normal. I limped it into a parking lot and looked/felt everything and it all looked fine; no fluid leaking.
When I turned the Path back on the brake light went away and it drove normally the rest of my trip. Anyone have this happen or know what the problem could be? I'm going to take it into the dealership to get a once-over but would like to be armed with some info before I do. Thanks guys.
