So I ordered some hankook dynapro mt. I was told wednesday they would be in today. I'm dying to get them cause the stock wheels look way to small with the lift.

295/75r16. im kinda irritated with the shop cause Wednesday they said they would be in by yesterday. i checked yesterday they still arent in. i want them before this wednesday so i have time to do any trimming or modding that i need to do before i go to the beach.

I saw the pic where you had your spacers installed, those tires are gonna look sick on the pathy. Where did you get your spacers and what size are they?

Finally got the tires today. It turns out someone from the wholesale side of the company took my order. These tires dwarf the stock ones. Now I get to put them on tonight.

Very nice, let us know how they perform and also of what all you needed to do for rubbing, especially up front.

Don't get a flat. Your spare will do you no good.

Trying to figure out a way to carry a full size spare. Would love to get a swing away tire carrier. It makes me glad I have full road side service.

They are great in the sand even without airing down. The back had no trimming. The front required cutting the fender. With a bigger lift like the diff drop this wouldn't be needed. A body lift combined with the quick lift would probably reduce the amount of trimming needed.

I had the same issue with my old 99 Grand Cheorkee. The tire was actually mounted inside underneath the floor. So I found a used hitch mounted tire carrier that came off a ford Bronco and modified the lug pattern to fit my Jeep. Brand is hitchgate. Google search it. I actually found it on Craigslist where a guy was selling it in CA but I lived in TX at the time. With shipping it wasn't bad as he was just trying to get rid of it. They are crazy expensive, but it worked great and I could add more things too it like a jerry can holder, or a highlift jack etc. It also came with a second reciever so I could still tow with my Jeep. Here are some pics of when I first installed it.

Here's me towing a trailer with the Jeep and the hitch gate on our hunting trip 2010.

Edit: Also wanted to point out this still allowed me to open the hatch glass without moving the tire. Made life easier then having to move the tire everytime I wanted to access the back.
