Tire size help

Hi all,
The time has come to replace all 4 tires on my 2010 SE 4x4 and i'm confused looking at tire sizes. Here's what i know for sure: the pathy is at stock height (for now), step rails and mud flaps have been removed. I know i want a taller and maybe little wider tire and i'm on stock 17" rims. What i don't know is what tire sizes i should be looking at? I've been looking at what America's tire shows as + size tires but that can't be all my options... (i hope)

If the tire guru's here can lend some advise i'd appreciate it. I've also searched around here and the more i read the more confused i get. Sorry in advance if this is a repatative question. Thank you tho for the help.

I'm running 266/70/17s duratracs on my 08 which are a 31.7 inch tire. They are wider and taller than the OEM tires. No rubbing for me. Loved how they perform.

Thx Volvite. I wonder why America's tire didn't list 265's as a plus size for the PF??? Would I be pushing the limits if I went with a 275 or 285?

265's are stock on the LE V8's. (265/60 18 ). I don't think some shops will mount a 285 on a 7.5" wheel. Check the tire specs and it will stat required widths and typically for a 285 minimum is 8".
The link wasn't working, but when you mention "Plus Sizing" I typically think of plus sizing the wheel while keeping the overall diameter the same. Whereas here, we usually like to add more diameter/taller tires.
Here's this:

But these are usually a little better to get the answer you're looking for.

As a general rule, 32-33's tend to fit with little to no modification on a stock height R51.

Anyone know how wide the 17" stock SE wheel is? I think it's 7.5" but I'm not sure..

Nice selection on the tires, but I think without a lift you will probably rub.

Thanks! I'm expecting some rubbing at full turn. Went out and got a heat gun so I can trim what's needed. Tire shop called me on Saturday and said they were in but I was out golfing. Made an appointment for tomorrow afternoon for the install. I'll put up some pics when I get home.
