Front end squeal

2005 Pathfinder 127,000 miles
This month's problem with the money pit is a front end squeal. It seems to take a few miles to develop and once it starts is somewhat intermittent. It seems to occur less when turning to the left (even a slight left) Seems like it is coming from the right side but not sure. It is fairly loud and sounds like something bad is going to happen. I am not mechanically inclined so feel free to state the obvious.

Thanks

Could be something to do with the brakes or rotors. Have you had your brakes changed recently?

remove the front wheel, inspect the brake pads
give the front hub a few turns spin by hand and try to locate the noise
then do the other side

Check the wear indicator on the brake pads. It's a small metal bar that will make contact with the rotor when the brake pads are worn out.
