Am from Oman (Middle East)

my Pathfinder 08 LE not failed yet ...... but

guys in USA is your trucks are equipped originally with external trans. cooler ????

because I checked my truck and i found an original external transmission fluid cooler fitted??

I know that I should to bypass the trans fluid away from the radiator cooling system. but since there is an external trans. fluid cooler I don't need to install another one !!

what I have in my truck the same as follow:

I hope that I know what I'm talking about :?

all of the North American Pathfinders have that external cooler
many of us have by-passed the internal cooler inside of the radiator and depend on the external cooler only
some of us have added an additional external cooler and/or a cooling fan for the external cooler
others have opted for a replacement radiator instead

Those Pathfinders manufactured in Spain don't appear to have issues with the transmission like those made in the USA. You may want to double-check where your truck was made.
