I just traded in my '05 LE for a '14 SL.

So I will be moving over to the R52 forums.
I just wanted to thank everyone here in the online community for the supports.

My '05 suffered a weird tranny problems at 116k mi. no radiator/tranny leakage, but I just lost reverse, fluid was crystal clear, and did not lose any of the forward gears (so not a solenoid problem).

Despite being bitten by the 05's tranny, I couldn't bear the thought of getting a different make/model. So I decided on a '14 (we'll see how the CVT holds up)...

I do have to say, I always think it's funny how many people get screwed by a car and then buy the same car again. A girl I work with traded in a dying R51 for an R52. Last week I rode with her and asked how she liked it. "It's a great car," she replied. Yet, her dash was already lit up like a Christmas tree with warning lights.
