KEYS ON IGNITION

the loop of the key broke off so cannot hang it off the key ring...so in order not to lose am thinking leaving it in the ignition and lock the car with the fob......any one did this....?!?!?

yes, that happened to me once. I just put it back in place and since then it never dropped again.

what do you mean...put it back in place....left it in the ignition....???

You should also put a sign on the roof that says, "FREE CAR!"
Don't leave the key in the ignition. Theft is a crime of opportunity and anyone walking by only has to break your window to easily turn your alarm off and drive away with your car. If you don't want to buy a new key, go get some JB Weld or some Goop (not sure if you have those where you are – they're just hard core adhesives) and make a new loop.
