Greetings,
Does anyone know the thread pitch of this bolt? I know the head is a 14mm
I changed my belt and auto-tensioner last week but the bolt came out stripped and the bottom of it did not seem to have any thread. I suspect the person who had it before did not have the right bolt in there. I ended up putting the bolt back but i need to fix the bolt hole threads and do it right. Can someone help?
Thanks

if the threads are buggered you will probably have to drill and tap new oversized anyways... I don't know if I'd trust a helicoil on this...

Yes that is the intention to drill and tap but i need a baseline to start from.
The bolt in there now is 14mm head and it is 80mm long 1.25 threads

The size of the head means nothing. Put an open end wrench around the bolt. It's either going to be 12MMx1.25 or 10MMx1.25.
