Looking for a part identification...

I'd like to first say that I don't have a huge knowledge of cars so please don't hate on me if this is completely obvious haha.
Anywho, yesterday I had the part completely fail on me at a hose coming in from the radiator. I'm trying to find what the name of the part is so I can see what the damage would be to my wallet when it's replaced. It appears to be part of the air-conditioner as it sits on the firewall on the left (from looking into the engine bay from the front of the car) of the engine.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!

That's the union for the heater system hoses; the parts catalog simply refers to it as "hose assembly-heater." You don't mention what year you have, but I'm assuming 05-07 because you have the bleeder fitting on it, which they eliminated around 2008. Refer to part code "92414":

I apologize, I didn't mention the year. It's a 2005 so you nailed it

. Thank you for identifying the part for me.
After looking at the diagram, and seeing what piece malfunctioned on my assembly, would it be safe to assume that I only need that 92414 part and not the entire assembly?

Nevermind, it looks like I'll need the complete assembly.

Tack on another $200 in labor to have Nissan service install it. So it's looking like around $400 if you don't do it yourself unfortunately.
I'm debating on replacing it myself honestly. Do you know how difficult it is? I've looked it over and it doesn't seem terribly hard however I've never changed something like this before.

Looks like nothing but hose clamps. The firewall ones look like the hardest part to put back on mostly.

Mine JUST did this as my wife was pulling in the driveway after work.
Has anyone done this repair yet? is it a huge pita?
So is the 92414 the entire assembly?
with three babies at home during the day that i have to care for after working nights i may just bite the bullet and have nissan do it.

Yea, 92414 is the entire assembly. You unfortunately can't buy just that part. Tried calling junk yards and most of them won't part out engine components so it looks like you either have to buy it online or from Nissan. After S+H it's $20 cheaper to buy it online however you'll either need to install it yourself or take it to a mechanic.

I had an A/C leak on my 08 at the expansion valve to the rear system. You can see it unless you pull out the whole, rear side panel. I was replacing the rear blower fan amp and noticed the expansion valve covered in green dye.
As far as used heater valves, I wouldn't recommend installing one if you could get it. The plastic becomes brittle due to time and the heat so the used part probably isn't in that great of shape, either.
