i have never used one. The Dodge people seem to like it.

I believe it would be similar to a JB4 or a Uprev in that you should be able to adjust timing and AF.

Its cheaper than the Uprevs and JB4 popular in the Nissan community.
Since I have not seen many Nissan drivers use the BullDog.. I am not sure i can recommend it in good conscience.

The cleanest way to improve your performance is to ado a UpRev reflash of your tune parameters to your ECU based on Uprev tuning on the dyno.

For example if you always use 93 Octane and our trucks are factory tuned for 91 of course.. a retune based on that will yield extra power.

My recommendation is to first bolt on what you want to bolt on.. like maybe hiflow cats ( the biggest restriction we have, it frees up more than an exhaust would) and then Uprev tune on dyno.

JB4 too seems to work well with the Infinitis so I know it will work well on our Nissans.

There aren't any tuners that can change the transmission shift timing that I know of. Most of the tuners will give you several tune options, such as tow mode, economy, 87 performance tune, 93 performance tune, etc. I believe the Bully Dog GT gives you some data monitoring options, like trans temp? UpRev is a custom tune and good if you are going to get serious into mods, such as eliminating the converters and installing long tube headers, etc.

Hey PathSV, found one that possibly can do transmission tuning for you. Accidentally found it today...

I don't know anything about it, but looks promising to tune any vehicle compatible with it. Reach out to them for any additional questions and feel free to share answers with the community here. We'd all like to know.
